Startup Weekend Portland, the launchpad for CPUsage and 8 other companies, has concluded and there were 3 clear winners. CPUsage is proud to announce that we are one of them! At 3rd place in a vote by a panel of successful entrepreneurs and investors, CPUsage was also named the “most fundable” company of the weekend.

At the start of Startup Weekend on Friday night, 22 different business concepts were pitched. Shortly after, those were narrowed down to 9 by a vote of attendees. CPUsage and the other 8 newly formed companies worked the rest of Friday evening, all day Saturday and all day Sunday in preparation for presentations on Sunday.

The other two companies joining CPUsage on the podium were Set Price Alert which came in 2nd and EyeClash that was the overall winner. Set Price Alert is a notification service for Amazon.com that alters users when identified products have been reduced in price to a predetermined level. EyeClash is an online flash gaming portal that adds video chat to the experience of playing free multi-player games.
